Lifeguard

Premier Pool Management (PPM) is adding additional Lifeguards to our team for Spring and Summer. If you enjoy working in a fun environment with opportunities to meet new people from all around the world this is the perfect position for you. Ideal candidates should have a proven history of great customer service, effective communication, and shown to have the ability to be a team player. Lifeguards with PPM enjoy flexible hours, with territories covering the entire DMV region offering a selection of locations.

 

Applicants must be punctual, responsible and able to multitask. Prior experience is not necessary; however, current Lifeguard certification is required. Certification courses are available for selected candidates. Candidates must be able to meet the following base requirements:

  • Have current lifeguard and First Aid/AED certification.

  • Maintain the filtration system and pool chemistry.

  • Keep pool area and restrooms clean.

  • Ensure gate control along with site specific requirements.

  • Provide great customer service, while ensuring patron safety at all times.

  • Pool Operator Certificate is a plus.

Supervisor

Premier Pool Management, Inc. is currently hiring a full-time experienced Pool Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have great customer service, communication and leadership skills and is able to maintain and develop relationships with clients. Applicants must be responsible, hands on, able to multitask and train others. The pool supervisor will be responsible for 10-15 lifeguards and 8-12 pools. Previous experience in the pool industry is preferred. Candidates must be able to meet the following basic requirements:

  • Manage indoor/outdoor pools.

  • Ensure that lifeguards open and close pools on time.

  • Ability to identify service projects.

  • Complete minor service repairs.

  • Obtain and maintain health department permits.

  • Oversee staffing.

  • Renew existing contracts and acquire new business.

  • Winterize pools at the end of season.

  • Ability to obtain a Pool Operator Certificate.

  • A valid driver's license is required.

regional MANAGER

Premier Pool Management, Inc. (PPM) is growing and seeking an experienced Regional Manager to join our rapidly expanding team. PPM is a full - service commercial pool management company with territories covering Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. The said candidate will have a proven record of creating and developing a highly productive team.

 

Position Overview:

  • The Regional Manager will be someone who can work in a dynamic environment independently and as part of a complex team.

  • This position requires the candidate is able to build an effective team that aligns with our company culture of inclusiveness.

  • This position requires understanding of budgeting and sales forecasting.

  • Previous experience in the aquatic industry is a plus but not required.

  • This position requires travel to cover our territory as well as a valid driver's license.

 

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Regional Managers will report to our Director of Operation.

  • Regional Managers will establish and maintain a positive relationship throughout implementation of service solutions for specific client needs.

  • The Regional Manager will be responsible for 30-40 commercial properties and manage as many as 2-4 supervisors.

  • Regional Managers will hire and develop staffing within their territories.

  • Regional Managers will work closely with the Director of Operations, managing their teams within set budgets and expectations.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 years of management experience.

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).

  • Basic knowledge of pre/post open and closing of pool season.

  • Ability to complete basic and minor service repairs in the aquatic industry.

  • Obtain and maintain Health Department permits.

  • Ability to oversee and manage supervisors and deck staff.

  • Experience with contract acquisition and renewals.

  • Ability to prioritize and delegate.

  • Strong written and oral communication is a must.

Premier Pool Management, Inc is seeking to add a full-time experienced pool Service Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable and organized aquatics industry professional or a recent graduate with educational experience and technical inclination. Premier Pool Management, Inc. (PPM) manages commercial properties (apartment complexes, homeowner associations, and hotels) in the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC area and is looking for a great addition to our team.

The ideal candidate displays strong organizational skills and a desire to grow with the company. Candidates are required to have the following technical skills and knowledge to ensure the successful operation of all aspects of the Service Department.

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • Familiarity and experience with pool repairs, renovations, and construction including troubleshooting, repair and routine service of pool systems or equivalent education and experience

  • Strong customer service skills and professionalism to communicate with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels

  • The ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English, interpret diagrams and specifications, and follow the instruction

  • General understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, masonry, and concrete

  • Have a strong understanding of P&L

  • Knowledge of VA, MD, DC and county regulations

  • Leadership skills and a can-do attitude

  • Ability to develop and manage an effective service team

  • A valid driver’s license

  • Essential duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the daily operation of the Service Department, including planning and preparing work schedules, assigning tasks, monitoring progress and workflow, reviewing work for timeliness and accuracy, and evaluating work performance

  • Manage the completion of multiple concurrent projects, including filtration system maintenance, pump and motor installation and service, heater installation, plumbing, skimmer, and leak repairs, deck and coping repairs, plaster repair

  • Identify and prepare recommended repair proposals

  • Source and purchase materials and supplies for projects within budget guidelines

  • Maintains compliance with OSHA regulations and hazardous chemicals program

  • Communicate professionally with and provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors, community organizations, and the public

Service TECHNICIAN

Premier Pool Management (PPM) is looking for full/part-time Pool Service Helpers with a minimum of 1 year of experience. PPM manages commercial properties (apartment complexes, homeowner associations, hotels, etc.) in the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC area. Our staff is comprised of experienced professionals who strive to meet and exceed our customer's expectations.

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • 1 year of experience in pool maintenance, repairs and renovations (leak detection and repair, tile, coping, plaster, concrete, plumbing, caulking etc.).

  • Ability to handle the stressful demands of the pool season.

  • Team player.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Strong work ethic and the ability to multitask.

 

Duties of this position include, but is not limited to:

 

  • Removing pool covers.

  • Performing minor pool repairs and renovations.

  • Set up and clean furniture.

  • Assist in service, repair and replace swimming pool equipment to include 

       plumbing and electrical work.

Premier Pool Management, Inc. is looking for an experienced self-motivated professional to add to our growing team as an Administrative Assistant.  As an administrative assistant you will support managers in multiple departments to ensure our growing company's objectives and goals are met. The ideal candidate will be someone who is adaptive, resourceful, proactive, a problem solver who can remain calm and positive under pressure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Take incoming calls to the office.

  • Create, organize and manage leadership team calendars.

  • Complies and verifies information from permanent and seasonal employees.

  • Organize company events.

  • Support field team by working with recruiter, create and maintain complex lifeguard schedules for over 100 properties.

  • Support HR team by managing logistics of arrivals for several dozen international employees.

  • Take minutes during meetings and prepare for distribution as necessary.

  • Input data on a large scale in a timely manner.

 

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Associate Degree.

  • 1+ years as administrative assistant or equivalent.

  • Strong understanding of MS Office and Excel.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experienced with all things Google and Social Media.
